shafts in creating a building with an image of visual
research; a necessary ingredient in attracting funding
and researchers.

Nuclear Research Building
Renovations and addition to the existing 1950's building
used for nuclear research. The program included a second
floor addition over the existing building by sensitive
re-use of the existing stonework. A state of the art addition
evokes an image of a progressive high tech facility for
the Institute of Applied Radiation Science.
Electron Microscope Facility
The complete renovation and conversion of the existing
ABB Science Building North Wing into five floors of undergraduate
teaching facilities for the department of Chemistry. Unique
two-sided fume hood design provided state of the art teaching
facilities and research.
Information Technology Centre Interior
Complete renovation of a 1950's Teacher's College into
a new computing and software engineering facility. The
project required major restoration of the stonework and
building envelope. New modern interiors complemented the
restored interior surfaces. A modern curtain wall addition
blended seamlessly with the renovated existing building
creating a true state of the art facility.
